The 1st day of the month is always an exciting day for me. As a member of Essential Rewards, I'm always excited to see what free stuff is available each month (based on purchase price). Because we do use a lot of Young Living products, I can usually get at least some of the promotional items free.
I found this graphic on one of the facebook team groups that I belong to...I love that some people are so talented with designing graphics! (Unfortunately, I'm not one of them--at least not yet.) Thank you "The Co-op - Community of Oily People" for this great design!
I'm most excited about the NingXia Nitro. I love Nitro--I believe in a previous post I mentioned how I make my favorite beverage, and Nitro is part of that.
Some of these promos are available to anyone placing any order that qualifies based on pv of order. Others (in this case spearmint and/or patchouli) are bonuses only available to members who have signed up for Essential Rewards (ER). If you are an Essential Rewards member, you can actually get all of these items twice! Once with a qualifying essential rewards order and once with a quick order.
It's a beautiful day here. The sun is shining! Enjoy your day!

So we survived the holiday weekend! Friday night our oldest son graduated from high school. We homeschooled him for high school and he worked really hard, getting all his credits in 3 years so that he could graduate a year early. Saturday morning everyone was at various places so I got some alone time at home to actually clean uninterrupted. I got so much more accomplished that way! Sunday morning we went to our community worship service, a yearly service coordinated by our church and another local church. Sunday afternoon/evening we hosted a graduation party for a son. Lots of fun despite the rain!
Young Living in our lives this weekend? Why yes!
- Diffused a combination of Lemon, Lavender, and Peppermint
- Daily NingXia Red for some of us
- After watching that Shannon Hudson video the other night (I mentioned it in a blog post this week), I put the oils from the Raindrop kit on my husband's back. I don't know anything about the Raindrop therapy technique, but just used the oils. He must have liked them because he wanted them again. :-) I may need to keep those oils together and handy!
- Tranquil Roll-on. It's my new fragrance of choice!
- Supplements--but that's a whole 'nother post!
Speaking of oils, organization of all of those bottles can be challenging. I like to have them in alphabetical order...I should do a post (with photos!) sometime and show you how I organize!
And as always, I'd love for you to join me in the Young Living lifestyle! There is a link to get started on this website.
Enjoy your day!

Last night I caught a Facebook Live by Shannon Hudson (a Young Living Diamond) about the oils in the Raindrop Kit. It was great! If you get a chance, look up Shannon (www.shannonhudsonyl.com) and check it out. She has a lot of great videos and I'm looking forward to learning more from her.
After watching her, I want to use these oils on myself and our family!
So yesterday my kids wrapped up their last day of school, and we are on to summer vacation! Today we woke up to cool, windy, rainy weather. We have one of those rare, completely unscheduled days. So exciting! I'm planning on taking the kids to the library at some point today--necessary as I have books due that have already been renewed!
As is mentioned in the "about me" section of this website, I have a bunch of kids. Unfortunately, they woke each other up this morning and were, um--disagreeing, very early. This mama is never very impressed when her kids wake up early, taking up that time on her schedule that is designated for coffee, Bible & prayer, and checking email/facebook/blogging! So what did I do? I went and found my Young Living Tranquil Roll-on to encourage my emotional well-being. I got the boys settled (small building toys to the rescue) and went about what I wanted to do. They played calmly for a while and now are eating breakfast.
Now I'm considering what I want to diffuse as we'll all be inside today. Is there something I can diffuse to promote children cleaning the house?! :-)
Enjoy your day!

P.S. Oh, and the house at the top of this post--not ours! It was the home of our 15th President, James Buchanan. I homeschool a few of our children and we visited it on a field trip. :-)
Around here we are busy wrapping up the school year. I homeschool 3 of our children. In our state, we prepare portfolios (samples of student work) and have them evaluated by an Evaluator who then prepares an approval letter (supposing it's approved, of course) for me to submit to our school district. I have 2 of the 3 portfolios done--our meeting is on Friday! My other 3 school kids have their last day of school tomorrow! My oldest son (homeschooled) will graduate this weekend. So it's a busy time.
So how does this relate to Young Living? Well, here are a few of the Young Living products we've been using in recent days:
- NingXia Zyng. A soda alternative and a nice pick-me-up in the afternoon.
- My favorite drink (as I blogged about the other day) which includes NingXia Nitro
- My one daughter puts a bit of NingXia Red and a few drops of a vitality citrus or two in her water bottle for a refreshing beverage.
- En-R-Gee Essential Oil and Live Your Passion or Live With Passion Essential Oils - These are the oil blends I've been diffusing in our house this weekend.
- Protein Complete (Chocolate or Vanilla Spice). I use my immersion blender and blend it with milk, almond milk, or into smoothies.
And so, at our house, summer is beginning!
